We work for justice, equity, and compassion in our relationships and systemic change in our society. We know that the escalation of economic inequality undergirds a thousand injustices. A better world is possible, and we strive to be part of the solution.

We place donations in the hands of people who need them! We are currently active in supporting AIIA (Akron Interfaith Immigrant Advocates), Freedom/ New Journey house, Margie’s Hope, Local nursing homes and mental health facilities and anyone else who needs things!  We have had a wonderful recent partnership with YAHAB who has supplied us with lots of donations and Saint Ambrose Catholic Church has a food program we benefit from as well.

Newly expanded Donation Station

Our Donation station is located at the back of our parking lot. It offers free upcycled clothing, toys and household items. It is open during our food justice programs: Whole foods giveaway Sunday mornings from 8:30a-10a, The Community Meals on the 4th Saturday of the month from 10a-noon and during office hours on Wednesdays from 9a-2p. If you have any questions, contact our donation coordinator Elica Prior at donationstation@uuakron.org. Or check out our Facebook page HERE!
