Our purpose is:

To uphold and extend the philosophy of liberal religion;

To contribute to the Unitarian Universalist sensitivity, vision and pioneering spirit of women;

To serve the social and spiritual needs of people through fellowship, group expression, a program of education, service and action;

To join wholeheartedly with men and women everywhere in striving for universal human dignity, freedom and peace;

To develop appreciation of the joy of life and an understanding of its deeper meaning.

The Unitarian Universalist  Women’s Association of Akron was founded on September 20, 1872.

Annual membership fee is $10

Monthly Meetings held on the third Friday.

Lunch is brown bag in Hannah Hall unless otherwise indicated. Please note when RSVP is needed.

Fair Trade Store!

The UUWA hosts the Fair Trade Store the first Sunday of every month during coffee hour.  Pick up your Fair Trade coffee, tea, hot cocoa, and treats and UU gifts! Check or cash.  Fair Trade Store goes on hiatus for the summer from June through August.
