Hermitage of the Heart is a worship service focused on contemplation and reflection, drawing inspiration from the natural world and the seasons of the soul. We seek connection with ourselves, each other and a dimension beyond ourselves, through music, silence, images and beautiful words. Come refresh, renew and find peace.

A Hermitage Vespers service is offered either the first Thursday or as part of the Stone Soup programs on the second Wednesday of the month from 7-7:30 pm, with entering music at about 6:55 p.m.

The full Hermitage contemplative service is offered online on the third Thursday of the month. Entering Music begins at 6:45 p.m.; the Service begins at 7 p.m. and finishes by 7:45 p.m.   The dates, times and themes for Hermitage services each month can be found in that month’s Reporter.

Come join our community: all you need to do is join online (or on Wednesdays come to the Sanctuary and relax into a receptive, reflective mode. We share soothing music and chants, inspirational readings, extended silences, all accompanied by images of natural beauty based on the theme.  Give yourself the opportunity to refresh, recharge and renew your whole self while being held in a virtual but very real community of love and support.
