UUCA Covenant
The Unitarian Universalist Church of Akron, like every other UU church, is a “Covenantal Community”. This means that we agree to a set of values and promises as a statement of who we are and how we will live and work together.

We aspire to participate in a religious community where we can take the risks necessary to grow spiritually and morally – a community of grace where we can make mistakes and be invited to become our better selves minimizing judgment or harm. We agree in unison at Sunday Worship Services “Love is the doctrine of this church” and that’s what we mean. Love, even when it’s hard.
Communication and Conflict in Covenant at the UUCA
If you are having concerns that involve yourself and another church member the minister or a staff person, it can be difficult to know where to turn.
