The Beloved Community is held together by covenant evident in love and trust. We will share a brief history of Unitarian Universalism shining a light on Covenant, Love, and Trust as three powerful and meaningful words strong enough when tested can hold a community, tribe, congregation, and a church together. The personal relationship we have with our congregations and churches are based on how we are together and how we move away from simple addition towards multiplication while avoiding duplicitous behaviors. We will discuss how we can traverse the short distance between the heart and head letting go of fears of frailty, weakness and comparisons which act as strongholds barring one from the depths of love and compassion of the heart.
