Dear Ones,
As we move through the interim period you have heard me say “the job of an interim is to hold up a mirror to the congregation so you can better see yourselves.” However my secondary role is to make sure you know about the resources available from our denominational headquarters, the Unitarian Universalist Association. The UUA is headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts and provides webinars, articles, and online discussion groups for the more than 1000 congregations in the US and around the world. During this pandemic times it is great to be able to access so many learning tools while we are, for the most part, apart.
My favorite UUA resource is Leader Lab- https://www.uua.org/leadership/library. Leader Lab has a webinar for any question you could have about UU life.
- Thinking about copyright law in regards to the music we use in worship services? Check out this article: https://www.uua.org/leadership/library/copyright-worship

- Wondering how to be calm and kind during this time of uncertainty? https://www.uua.org/leadership/library/deep-breaths
There are myriad resources for people who aren’t in formal church leadership as well.

There is much to learn about our beloved faith community. Check out UUA.org!
I hope you are enjoying the journey of life this month and being gentle with yourself and those in your orbit.
Warmly,
Rev Kate
