Position Title: UUCA Digital Communications Coordinator (Digital Life Coordinator)
Location: Unitarian Universalist Church of Akron, Ohio
Reports to: Minister of Congregation
Job Status: Quarter-time/8 hr per wk
Salary: $15 per hour

Job Description
The UUCA Digital Communications Coordinator will collect, and broadcast church media content, maintain and curate social media, facilitate moderation of online church spaces and forums, maintain the UUCA website

Manage UUCA Social Media
Manage social media and content across all social media and website accounts
Facilitate Online Meetings
Coordinating digital interactions (worship, classes, group meetings)
Facilitate moderation of online social media interactions among members
Releasing Church Content
Capturing, streaming, recording, distributing, and storing church services and relevant programs
Post church content to appropriate platforms
Church Website
Provide continuous updates with current information and events

Core Competencies
Note that qualifications may be met as a result of lived experience, volunteer work, professional experience, and/or formal or informal training.

Familiarity with Zoom, and other broadcasting/streaming software and techniques
Familiarity with basic website platforms, particularly WordPress
Willingness to develop a working knowledge of Unitarian Universalist principles
Excellent knowledge of social media platforms and best practices
Proven work experience coordinating social media
Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video)
Excellent writing, critical thinking, problem-solving, and time management skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Willingness to develop a working knowledge of inclusive terminology and communication
