The ancients called it Samhain or the end of the harvest year; the Christian church designated it as All Hallows Eve. In both traditions it is marked by remembering and honoring those who have gone before us. This Sunday we honor members, relatives, and friends that we have lost this year and give thanks for their roles in our lives.
