Contemporary Unitarian Universalism is a pluralistic faith, drawing its strength from its openness to many different sources. Religious interdependence is an integral characteristic of our living tradition. Unitarian Universalists with different theological and philosophical beliefs feel equally at home in our congregations. As UUs we work to foster cooperation among people of faith as a way of discovering shared values.

The Interfaith Action Committee promotes interaction with different faith communities to better understand the many religious beliefs in the greater Akron.  Our membership in the Akron Area Interfaith Council provides opportunities for community involvement, growth and learning.  For more information, or to get involved, contact Pam Garn Nunn at Interfaithaction@uuakron.org

The Hunger Walk

Our congregation is one of several area churches that hosts AAIC’s annual Walk to Stop Hunger. All proceeds from the walk benefit the Akron Canton Regional Foodbank.
