Listening Sessions on Bylaws and Governance

Before any changes are proposed to our bylaws or governance structure, the church is holding listening sessions to hear directly from members. These sessions are an opportunity to share perspectives, ask questions, and reflect together on how membership, voting, and leadership best support the mission and values of UUCA.

So far, participants have raised thoughtful questions about what it means to belong, how membership connects to our mission, how decisions are made, and how accountability and communication can be strengthened. These conversations are shaping the groundwork before any formal proposals are brought forward.

All sessions are being facilitated by Angie Laakso, President-Elect of the Board, and all are open to members.
